We Elect a member every year to the office of "Sports Officer". His role is to keep us informed of upcoming events on the AREA Calendar and enter a team from Leigh on Sea in to anything we may or may not do well in but what the heck! This Table year 2008 / 2009  our sports officer and also Area 33 Sports Officer is Joe Laker. He can be contacted on joe@losrt.co.uk

Events range from the Area Cricket competition through Go Karting, 10 pin Bowling, Golf, 5 a Side Football, Rrunning round in a circle with your head on a stick 10 times then trying to run in a straight line, to Welly boot throwing!. We have also been known to hold a crazy golf tournament along Southend Seafront (provided the place is open!) followed by a Beer and Curry!.
