Leigh - on - Sea  Round Table

                            Home of the  909.

                                    We Don't Just Sit There......

LOS 909 is part of Area 33 which in turn is part of the National Round Table organisation.

We meet every second and fourth Thursday's in the month at the Arlington Rooms at  905 London Road, Leigh-on-Sea, Essex SS9 3LL and usually organise a small event for any 5th Thursdays that appears on the calendar.

All the members are united in there wish to help - particularly locally - we do this in many ways from helping with physical assistance in Building a new Bathroom / shower room for a disadvantaged local resident to preparing a Carnival float for Little Havens  - Holding  an annual children's party for up to 300 kids and bringing cheer in the festive season by delivering food parcels to people who appreciate them. All the while, we enjoy a bit of fun and friendship as we go - because we enjoy putting something back into our local community.

A long line of Chairmen have led Leigh on Sea Round Table to a become very a well known organisation in the local area starting in:

1965/66    Mr. B. Teff.

1966/67    Mr. G.T. Denny.

1967/68    Mr. R. Souter.

1968/69    Mr. H. Briggs.
